ASBURY DEVELOPMENT
CORPORATION

When we purchased the land for the
3rd filing of "Asbury Park" the deal
was we had to purchase the barn on
the land as well. Although it had
only been built as recently as 1973
it was still a barn. Having no need
for a barn we did what we do best
and converted it to a home. Without
trying to sound arrogant it really did
turn out cool. We tried to keep the
"look and feel" by using "Saltillo" tile
on the entire main floor, concrete
countertops in the kitchen, and a
curved "adobe" fireplace in the
corner of the family room.

RENOVATING
"THE BARN"
The first family has since moved to
Boston but I talk with them on occasion
and they tell me how they miss their days
of living in "the barn".

BODY SHOP TO BANK
RENOVATION
Talk about baptism by fire! When Mega
Bank called us with their first job, little
did we know what we were getting into.
The job was to convert a gas station
circa 1912, (subsequently an auto body
shop) into a bank. Luckily we like a
challenge. I guess we must have done
alright because we were hired back to
build three more branches for them, this
time from the ground up, as well as
renovate 10,000 square feet of office
space.
